Coaching & Training
I work with individuals to help them with both their professional and personal development and to achieve their goals – for example, working to enhance performance, to change specific behaviour, to manage a transition or to improve relationships. All these goals should and do have an impact on the client’s organisations and thus improve results and effectiveness.
I also work as a trainer with groups specialising communication and listening skills. I can also provide the facilitation of time management, study skills and assertiveness workshops and reflective practice sessions (for a number of professionals including lawyers, teachers, doctors and nurses). I also have experience in providing training for HR professionals on mental health awareness.
Sometimes, clients need to address and resolve specific problems e.g. poor communication or management style, stress management or issues with home/work balance. I work with clients - individuals or groups who want to focus on any of the following areas:

My work is centred on a process model but is informed by a theoretical framework which includes psychodynamic, solution-focused and cognitive behavioural thinking. I have an understanding and appreciation of a number of techniques including personality assessment tools - MBTI (Myers-Briggs), Belbin & Kiersey Bates), 360° feedback, EQ (Emotional Intelligence) and Leadership Style & Development. I work with a number of other professionals (HR, legal, performance management specialists) when necessary to provide the right approach for my clients.
